ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor
ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructors are exercise professionals who meet all requirements of the American Council on Exercise to develop and lead group fitness classes. They focus on helping people enhance their fitness and modify risk factors for chronic disease to improve health.
The ACE Group Fitness Instructor Certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agency (NCCA). ACE Professionals are required to earn 20 hours of ACE-approved continuing education credits (2.0 CECs) every certification renewal cycle. Establishing and enforcing that standard helps validate that professionals continue to enhance their competence to safely and effectively lead people to health-related change through group exercise.
