Individuals who have earned an ACE Personal Training Certificate are recognized as proficient exercise specialists by the American Council on Exercise. They are equipped to design and apply tailored exercise regimens for individuals and small groups, aimed at enhancing fitness levels and overall wellness. Their primary objective is to assist clients in improving functionality, health, fitness, and performance while mitigating risk factors associated with chronic diseases.
ACE Professionals are committed to maintaining and enhancing their expertise through ongoing education. As part of this commitment, holders of the ACE Personal Training Certificate are required to accumulate 20 hours of ACE-approved continuing education credits (2.0 CECs) during each 2-year certification renewal period. This ensures that they stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field, enabling them to effectively guide individuals towards health-related transformations through personalized exercise programs.
