ACE Certified Health Coach

ACE Certified Health Coaches are health professionals who meet all requirements of the American Council on Exercise to develop and implement health behavior-change programs with individuals and groups through client–coach relationships with individuals seeking improved well-being. They possess knowledge of health and wellness guidelines and strategies for improving well-being as well as expertise in behavior change, motivation and coaching theory, models, approaches and techniques. The ACE Health Coach Certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agency (NCCA). ACE Professionals are required to earn 20 hours of ACE-approved continuing education credits (2.0 CECs) every certification renewal cycle. Establishing and enforcing that standard helps validate that professionals continue to enhance their competence to safely and effectively lead people to health behavior change.
